Professional Marine Safety Services

Sea First Marine Service provides complete marine safety services covering life saving appliances, fire fighting appliances, gas detection instruments, breathing apparatus and safety equipment inspection for vessels calling at Chittagong, Mongla, Payra and outer anchorage.

Safety equipment is the one system onboard that must work the first time it is used. Our technicians service, test, refill, recharge and certify LSA and FFA equipment in accordance with SOLAS, MED and manufacturer service bulletins, ensuring your vessel passes Port State Control, class survey and vetting inspection without observation.

SOLAS Compliant Servicing

All LSA and FFA servicing follows SOLAS Chapter II-2 and Chapter III requirements, IMO Resolution MSC.402(96) and the equipment manufacturer's service manual. Work is carried out by trained technicians using genuine spare parts and calibrated test equipment.

Life Raft & Lifeboat Care

Life rafts are inflated, pressure held, gas cylinder weighed, packing renewed and HRU replaced as required. Lifeboats, davits, falls and on-load release gear are inspected, load tested and overhauled at the five-year interval with full documentation.

Fire Fighting Readiness

Portable extinguishers are refilled and recharged, fixed CO2 and foam systems inspected, fire hoses pressure tested and detection systems function tested. Deficiencies are reported with photographs and corrected before the vessel sails.

Breathing Apparatus & Gas Detection

SCBA sets are stripped, tested and cylinders refilled with breathing-quality air. Gas detectors, oxygen analysers and multi-gas instruments are calibrated against certified span gas with calibration certificates issued.

Pre-Inspection Support

Before a Port State Control visit, vetting inspection or class survey, our safety team walks the vessel with the master and chief officer, identifies likely observations and closes them out — turning inspection day into a formality.
