Sludge & Garbage Disposal Service
MARPOL compliant collection and disposal of sludge, bilge water, waste oil, sewage and ship garbage with licensed barges, trucks and full documentation.
Professional Sludge & Garbage Disposal Services
Sea First Marine Service provides licensed, MARPOL compliant sludge, waste oil, bilge water, sewage and garbage reception and disposal services to vessels at Chittagong, Mongla, Payra and outer anchorage. Waste is collected by approved barges, road tankers and garbage boats, then transported to government-approved treatment and disposal facilities.
Improper waste disposal carries serious legal, environmental and commercial consequences. Our service removes that risk entirely — correct segregation, metered quantities, licensed transport, approved final disposal, and a complete documentary trail comprising MARPOL receipts, waste transfer notes and disposal certificates for the vessel's records.

Our Sludge & Garbage Disposal Services
Full MARPOL Compliance
Every collection is carried out under MARPOL Annex I, IV and V requirements. Quantities are metered and jointly agreed, receipts are issued in the format required for the Oil Record Book and Garbage Record Book, and disposal is completed only at government-approved reception facilities.
Licensed Barges & Road Tankers
Our fleet of sludge barges, vacuum road tankers and garbage boats holds current operating licences and pollution prevention approvals. Transfer hoses, couplings, drip trays and containment equipment are supplied and rigged by our crew, not the vessel's.
Anchorage & Berth Coverage
Waste collection is available alongside berth and at outer anchorage. Barges are dispatched to Chittagong outer anchorage and Kutubdia around the clock, so a vessel never has to hold waste onboard beyond its planned departure.
Segregation & Advisory Support
We advise on correct segregation at source, supply colour-coded bins and liners where required, and help vessel staff maintain accurate Garbage Record Book and Oil Record Book entries that stand up to Port State Control scrutiny.
Environmental Responsibility
Nothing we collect is discharged into the sea, a river or an unapproved site. Oily waste goes to licensed recovery, sewage to approved treatment, recyclables to registered recyclers and residual waste to authorised landfill — with certificates to prove it.
